Burton the pick? You're outside... it doesn't matter that I’ve been playing bass for a short time. Burton USED HIS FINGERS JIGORO. And if Cliff hadn’t died at 23 and was still alive, I would have liked to see what bassist would have come out. If Stanley Clarke or Jaco Pastorius had died at 23? Who can say... the fact remains that what he was doing at that age was extraordinary. It would be utopian to say that he would have become the best in the world, but for me it's passion, just like the Metallica are. And although I can listen to a lot of metal, for me Metallica are Metallica. And reconsider... and justice for all and ride the lightning. Masterpieces. Regarding the fact that the bass isn't heard in MOP, let me ask you a question: what do you hear in battery? When it kicks in and explodes... and in Master... and in Orion? Do you think that what sounds like a guitar is the work of Kirk? No. It's Cliff with the effect. And the intro to Dmage inc? And BASS. Simply CLIFF BURTON’S BASS.

But what do we have to say to you? We told you how de-baser works. Either you commit or you get insults and criticism. Then the cover of the album did the rest. And now they call you by all sorts of names... this music here pleases a few, but as Mary Ponppyns (the pornstar) used to say: "with a little sugar the pill goes down!!! the pill goes down!!!!!! the pill goes down!!!!! no, sorry. I'm out.

Me? Well, I liked them until Issues. Then I got tired of them. They aren't exactly one of my favorite bands, but they stand out amid all that crap.

Great review, but "the second bassist of the greatest recent doom metal band: Cathedral" is unforgivable. Have you ever listened to My Dying Bride or Anathema? With all due respect to Cathedral... but... perfection cannot be beaten.

Everyone has their opinions. I don’t have the booklet, and on various Dream boards, I’ve learned that both have been created. I don’t know if you like my review, but I’m not here to be a journalist. I express my emotions, not just my opinions. Moore is Moore, you’re right, but I prefer Rudess. Personal opinions. Ah, and by the way, know this: some time ago (when you say "well-known artists"), very few people here were familiar with this stuff. And that’s also the beauty of de-baser: you grow musically. In time, you’ll see.

I came from HJF03... and I was full of emphasis. Anyway, I like this record and a year ago everyone would have wanted to listen to it and then everyone wanted to draw their conclusions. Anyway, I don’t consider myself a "good reviewer." Absolutely not. I write to create a dialogue that expands my horizons and gives me confirmation on the music I listen to and will listen to. If you want, take a look at my reviews, but the real and good reviewers on de-baser are others...
