Do you like Moonspeel? Good job... interesting. The first demo, Bay Area Thrasher, right? I have it too, and despite the very poor production, it's a historic record.

Yes, I know. I should have replied with a "fuck you, arrogant prick"! But you were new, and at least you expressed your ideas in a "philosophical" way. You study philosophy, right? You remind me of my pretentious philosophy professor, who, as arrogant as he is, does nothing but praise his little hilltop town as if it were the world metropolis (mind you, he lives among sheep and cows). The thing about secular groups referred to King Krismon and the others. As for Myung, I'll just say this: the fact that you hate him doesn't negate the fact that he is a great bassist, who certainly can't be compared to Jaco, but who, despite being a robot, knows what he's doing, indeed. And when I say that he draws in certain ways from Jaco's style, I say it because analyzing his style and way of playing the bass, one might conclude that "Myung draws from Pastorius' style." Because, even if Petrucci and Portnoy lead, it's always him who plays. And in some Dream Theater pieces, it might be that Portnoy and Petrucci tell Myung: "do a bass solo like Pastorius." But this doesn't mean that Myung copies Pastorius, or that he can't reference Pastorius just because he's a robot. He’s not Pastorius, but he has probably studied his groove too.

Ah, I see. So you don't lower yourself to my position of "little fool-exalted-bassist-failure"? Because you're afraid that I might diminish your "pompous" philosophy, copied from who knows what work? So, in your opinion, just because you throw around names of such "secular" bands, you feel so proud that you won't stoop to my level? Do you happen to have anything to say about how Myung sounds? You can say he's a remote-controlled robot, that you can't stand him, or that you don't like Chinese bassists, but what can you say about how he sounds? You don't like it? And have you really listened closely (really) to undermine my phrase "in some ways"? And you say that Dream are pompous. Take a good hard look at your brain and you’ll see what's truly pompous and what isn't.

I expected it too. It was the answer that my review-provocation had to create sooner or later. Now I'm waiting for the bassist :). If you’re referring to my review of Image, or you strange guy who writes the same comments on all the reviews, know that I have absolutely not equated Myung with Pastorius, but I've simply said that in some ways Myung draws on the jazz style of Jaco. And anyway, try to change up your comments.
