poddosky the black album was the best-selling album in Metallica's history (and I can grant you the word "sveduti"... quite justified, I’d say..) but I don’t believe that load and re-load, let alone st. anger, had overall sales similar to "Metallica". They didn’t make these mistakes because they sold out, but because Lars thought it was a good idea to lean towards Oasis, which he had been listening to during their hiatus. Yes, Cliff shouldn’t have died.. I don’t want to defend their crap, but I have faith in their next album. If I end up disappointed, I’ll erase the word MetallicA from my heart and live again in the beautiful memories of the early albums. Oh, by the way, guys, MTV is ridiculously banal! Once I saw a special on metal: RIDICULOUS! They said that MM was today’s death metal and bands like Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, etc. were the new THRASH!!!!!! and so many other nonsense...

Sure, Lars may not be a great drummer (I'd give him a 7), but you also understand that as a character, he has had a lot to say, sometimes maybe too much, in the history of Metallica.

The only good thing about this event is, let's say, a certain type of popularity for the hosting city. Not that Rome needs "popularity" or to be introduced to the whole world, but it definitely increases its prestige, as this is a very important event for the pop industry. The music, of course, leaves much to be desired, but it has certainly done good for a beautiful city like Rome and a bit for all of Italy as a whole.
