Recent excitement, but with small big mistakes! You know, since Le Orme have been my favorite band since I was a child, I am picky :-) From the release of this album, Le Orme stated that they were inspired by Quatermass, another English power trio which unfortunately only released one self-titled album in 1970... for those who have listened to "Quatermass," it will be evident that the opening of the track "Post War Saturday Echo" has the same notes as "Collage." Given that "Collage" was released in 1971 and "Quatermass" in 1970, it is clear that Le Orme took a clear inspiration from it, among other things confirmed by them! So ELP and Orme have nothing in common, apart from the three-piece formation! This misleading association between these two great bands was made in the '70s and, I repeat, has always been denied by Le Orme themselves! One last thing I would like to point out (forgive me, dear reviewer) is that "the three are still active"; today the only "survivors" in the group are Aldo & Michi, and since 1992, Michele Bon has replaced Tony, later joined by Sartori, who left at the end of the '90s to make way for Andrea Bassato, an excellent pianist/violinist! That's all, sorry if I’ve been so fussy, but when it comes to Le Orme... well... :-)

Interesting!!! Anyway, as the French Group, we must not underestimate Ange either. Their first album "Caricatures" from 1972 is truly very beautiful!

I wanted to say: it's obvious that there is something good today too! Sorry for the mistakes, but my PC is slow and also the keys don't work perfectly! :-)

There is no doubt about it; it's obvious that there is something good! But the matter always remains subjective!

@c'è: you are absolutely right about everything, I also started with the Beatles, then I went through Psychedelia, through Prog (even though I was already inclined towards the genre thanks to Le Orme!), to Dark/Prog, the Gothic of Antonius Rex, and finally now to Rush! But the Beatles were the springboard, because they are the right band to start listening to music that’s well made and to tell MTV to shove it! That's how it happened to me, but of course, it’s subjective!

Why System of a Down? Because I consider them useless, they're just idiots! Tell me what they've contributed to Music! "It's true that 30 Seconds to Mars, Finley, Antonacci, Tiziano Ferro are worse than the Beatles, but so what? Should this exempt them from possible criticism?" Well, if the overwhelming majority of today's music is crap (aside from a few rare exceptions), then yes... I'm the first to say that the Beatles' early period was commercial, but if only today's music were "Love Me Do"!

I apologize for the pitiful way I wrote, but some keys on my keyboard aren't working; I’ll quote correctly what I wrote: Rec very good! I adore and will forever adore the Beatles, even when I don’t listen to them for entire months! Here we are debating whether there’s someone who wants to kill or bury Paul and Ringo, while assholes like System of a Down, 30 Seconds to Mars, Finley, Antonacci, Tiziano Ferro, etc. are around; why don’t we ferociously kill and then bury the uselessness just listed?
