Dario Argento Quattro Mosche Di Velluto Grigio
Voto:
Great rec! Pippo... the soundtrack of this film is by Ennio Morricone... not by Goblin... 3rd Masterpiece of the Maestro... I just don’t understand why he never had it released on VHS and DVD... (???) Chilling scene in the park; with the music coming from the speakers!!! I give the film a well-deserved 4.5! Keep it up, vellutogrigio!!!

Great Focus! For now, I only have a collection of theirs, featuring the crazy "Hocus Pocus" and the beautiful "House King"... Nice job Green!

Great album and great review!!! I definitely prefer "In Rock" from MkII, while I like all of MkI even though they didn't have much success at the time... but who can forget "Hush" and "One More Rainy Day"!!! Anyway, I consider the music of the '60s and '70s to be dated, yet still modern... because after all, it's been 30-40 years (and not 1000...) and some current bands are rediscovering certain sounds from that magical and unfortunately unrepeatable period! For the simple reason that that was the MUSIC! It's also true that there were some nonsense back then... but they were well done! So let's not confuse CURRENT with MODERN; remember we are talking about 30 years ago, not the XIII century! Anyway, "Machine Head" is not from 1971, but from 1972... Guys, the '60s and '70s are still with us; this review and the many others in comparison show that there are very few current bands and artists here on Deb...

It's a beautiful film... but from here the Maestro starts to decline a bit... obviously the cinematography and the shots are splendid... Anyway, if the Maestro has begun to decline with his films, he certainly hasn’t started to decline with his soundtracks... just look at "Inferno," a film that leaves much to be desired... but the soundtrack by the legendary Keith Emerson is stunning!
Dario Argento Tenebre

Another MASTERPIECE from the Maestro! Excellent analysis vellutogrigio, but be careful not to reveal the endings!
Dario Argento Profondo Rosso

MASTERPIECE! Here Dario Argento establishes himself as one of the best Italian directors! A film in which the supernatural (the supposed ghosts in the villa) and the natural (the unpredictable and cunning killer's mind) blend together... "Profondo Rosso" is the essence of the animalistic trilogy (although our Master Argento directed the TV series "La Porta Sul Buio" with Mara Venier and "Le Cinque Giornate," a comedy with Celentano, in '73). Then with "Suspiria" he took a bit of a dip, but with "Tenebre" and "Phenomena," he makes a strong comeback! "Opera" is almost a refinement of "Phenomena"... but from "Trauma" (in my opinion the worst film by the Master) to "Non Ho Sonno" (a colossal return to the Giallo/Thriller), the great Argento falls quite low...

I didn't know that, Puni! Unless... this is your irony...
Nazareth Razamanaz

I saw an apparition of Nazareth at the Beat-Club, a historic German show from the '60s and '70s...

Great movie! However, I think it's lacking a bit in terms of plot... In my opinion, more than Lovelace, the sexologist's nurse was much better... what a babe!!! And what boobs!! I rate the movie 4.5... By the way, if I'm not mistaken, there are two sequels to "Deep Throat"... "Deep Throat 2" and "Black Deep Throat"... does anyone know more about them?
