Andrew W.K. I Get Wet

to put it in the words of the lead singer of Placebo, this is true cock-rock... (the same goes for Kid Rock)
Kid Rock Rock N Roll Jesus

Wrestling character, more than rock...
Spice Girls Greatest Hits

To put it with Phil Spector, "The Spice Girls are like a porn movie: except that porn movies have better music."
Neil Young Journey Through the Past (Soundtrack)

I found that idea to be very incisive, emphasizing the stark, border character of the film. For me, that soundtrack is pure pleasure. For Black dog: Marco Grompi "Neil Young: 1963-2003: 40 years of wild rock" I think it's excellent. I haven't read it, but I've had the opportunity to appreciate various contributions from Grompi; he is certainly very knowledgeable about the subject.
Todd Rundgren A Cappella
Voto:
try "rust never sleeps," the best distillation of Neil's acoustic and electric souls.
The Clientele It's Art Dad
Voto:
excellent as always

I only know Rundgren's "A Wizard, A True Star," but that discourages me from diving into this sea of work... by the way: how many have you gotten through?
Neil Young Chrome Dreams II
Voto:
I fully agree with Festwca's comment on the album: it features some remarkable moments (boxcar, ordinary people, spirit road, no hidden path), and it is Neil's best work in quite a while. He has nothing left to prove; consistently making records has always been his way of communicating with the world.
Crosby, Stills & Nash Daylight Again

Great review! Unfortunately, the album heavily suffers from the climate and context of the time. 5 stars for understanding the human drama experienced by Crosby, but no more than two stars for music that is alas truly bland compared to the glorious past.

Thank you all for the comments #pourquoipas, I have always suffered from a form of epilepsy that is not particularly severe, but still annoying. @supersoul, as far as I know, Young blocked the CD reissue in 1995 when everything was already ready to hit the stores. However, I have also heard rumors about a reissue in 1999 (which would have been from Reprise, not Capitol); I believe it’s something independent from Neil… then I couldn’t tell you exactly!
