Yes Salmacis, it is certainly not a crime to consider a song ugly. For example, I don’t like "I remember nothing" from the previous album; I find it a bit cloyingly Doors-like and too slow. Then we can talk about it and compare opinions.

Another lesser-known piece by Dylan that I adore is "Who Killed Davey Moore?", with lyrics that encapsulate, with ruthless brevity, many distortions of our society (with the aid of an intelligent sports metaphor). I also appreciate "Ballad Of Hollis Brown" quite a bit, though. As for Neil's archives, no comment. At least Bob has made his fans much less anxious.
