The Replacements Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash

I obviously quote Mien and I think Westerberg is actually quite underrated: any "Sixteen blue," "I Will dare," "Here comes a regular," "Willpower," or "Skyway," just to mention the first ones that come to mind not from this excellent debut, if it had been written by Morrissey/Marr or Buck/Stipe would have had greater fame. Of Trip Shakespeare, I only have "Are you Shakespearienced?," really brilliant.

Mould had a good first part of his solo career, but he ran out of steam pretty quickly: a bit like Black Francis. Westerberg, for me, gave everything he had with the Replacements up until "Pleased to Meet Me," and then gradually lost that expressive urgency that makes him one of the definitive voices of youth, managing to stay afloat only with his craft. As for Hart, I also love his contribution on "Warehouse."

Greetings to all @Franci. My dear, had I known, I would have gladly left it to you, since I had already expressed my opinion about the guys in the review of "Hootenanny." I never thought anyone would take the time to write it, considering that the Mats are a bit neglected on these pages, as Pixiez77 rightly pointed out. @Lewis. I wouldn't know who to choose; I only know that I will be listening to the records of both for many more years... @Paolo. No, the man in the photo is not poor Jason Mayelé, but David Suazo. Not lamented, fortunately, but only regretted (at least by me, even though the team is doing well, but David will always be my ideal number 9). The photo was taken at a kiosk in Poetto the day before he left. @boredom. Yes, a very sad story, a film sadly watched many times: even Neil Young had to fire Danny Whitten because he was unable to go on tour, and a few days later he received word by phone that the bitter prophecy of "The needle and the damage done" had come true. Bob unfortunately was not physically able to withstand an adventure that was becoming increasingly professional, while Westerberg, as is already suggested by the lyrics of "Johnny's gonna die," intended to leave behind his youth excesses. A story as banal in its paradigmatic nature as it is bitter in its outcomes.

"Without delving into the Italian sorrows, for example, just one You don't love when I cry sweeps away all 28 albums by Tori Amos"......better not to upset the good Captain, I would therefore cite the Lisa Germano so beloved by the scaruffians.....

Mountain biking is beautiful because it allows you to traverse wonderful places. But can you compare it to climbing a steep pass on solid asphalt that lets you showcase your climbing skills, followed by a downhill burst where you carve the curves like Savoldelli, instead of dodging rocks and all sorts of debris? It's a beautiful scene; at work, I partly echo the comment of the defector in Belgium (the homeland of cycling, not coincidentally).

One day, Grant the brave colossal came across one of my reviews of Soft Cell, giving it a 1 with the following motivation: "Music for little faggots high on ecstasy and poppers." You must agree he must have had a difficult childhood.

I was never that excited about it, but coming after "RB" it has many mitigating factors. The review, on the other hand, is amazing.

One of the first records I ever listened to in my life, thanks to my mom's old vinyl. I agree with Supersoul, but a little extra point for affection is deserved.
