I've always loved Liz, even though here she had started her downward spiral... but still a top-class album.

"Everybody's been burned" is one of my all-time favorite songs; I don't know why it reminds me of certain things about Nick Drake...
Lemonheads It's A Shame About Ray

Thank you for the comments. Yes, Zigghio "Hate your friends" was hilarious even if a bit too derivative. @odradek: the beauty is that in that CD the title "cazzo di ferro" on the back wasn't marred by the usual idiotic asterisks. This proves that censors, besides being stupid, are also ignorant...
Edoardo Bennato La fantastica storia del pifferaio magico

Pathetic—him, his sunglasses, his denim jackets, his friend Brizzi: the little Tony from Bagnoli.
Finley Sole Di Settembre

But is it true that the Finley re-recorded the po-po-po (Seven Nation Army...) for the Fiat commercial??? Unbelievable.....

It would be entirely redundant to compliment you, John... you know the legend that tells how every night, before falling asleep, the good Jason caresses his vinyl copy of "On the Beach" by Neil Young?

Yes, hobbit, you hit the nail on the head......

Well, just thinking about Yamamoto's bass, so sultry and hypnotic, one could write a new wave treatise... one of Thayl's favorite bands were the Young Marble Giants. In short, I agree with easycure... even though the new wave influences would gradually disappear in the 90s, particularly on "Superunknown" (coincidentally when Yamamoto had already left).
