3.5 album, very particular and refined but not yet brilliant. The keyboards were definitely present, and Andrews' departure deprived the group of a destabilizing element, although Partridge and Mouldin managed to compensate excellently.
David Crosby If I Could Only Remember My Name
Voto:
It's not exactly dedicated to the wife, although there is a connection given the timing (wife passed away in '70, album released in '71). The true tribute to Christine was the song "The Lee Shore," featured on the CSNY album "Four Way Street."
Pet Shop Boys Behavior
Voto:
I definitely recommend, without a shadow of a doubt, another 4-star album: not a masterpiece, but it features excellent moments, such as the Morriconian cabaret of "it couldn't happen here" or the New Order echoes of "shopping", alongside the usual sparkling techno-pop numbers like "it's a sin".

you've done better ones
Pet Shop Boys Please
Voto:
For me, the best ones are behavior and actually; the latter, by the way, hasn’t been reviewed yet... you think about it, target!
Heartbreakers Like A Mother Fucker

Well done, Gabs, connoisseur of true New York rock and roll, not the upper-class gigolo stuff from Manhattan like The Strokes.
Pet Shop Boys Please
Voto:
Nice review, the album is a bit bland honestly and too tied to the most banal chart stereotypes of the decade, from which they will break free with actually and behavior.
John Gavanti Unnamed: An Operetta

just a bunch of comments from the debaser fans... anyway, good job
Robert Wyatt The End Of An Ear
Voto:
An album of blinding beauty, by far Wyatt's best (and not just the most influential). Well done, Dave, a review that deserved more visibility for me.
