@target the funny thing is that many hate the PSB, while Depeche Mode thrive: despite fundamentally similar artistic outcomes, it's clear that cultured irony and wit don't have as much impact as poses like "personal jesus"... best wishes to everyone

I'm always intrigued by the noise-deconstructing proposals of sfascia-carrozze, and whenever I can, I follow his tips; however, I also hum smells like teen spirit... am I a hopeless case?

Anyway, good job mentioning that movie; it has a soundtrack that's nothing short of amazing...

the album is tough: you can clearly see they've listened to the big names of early 90s alternative and are reinterpreting their lessons with a claustrophobic Korn-like flair. "Pollution" with that syncopated Claypool-esque bassline or certain exotic references to Faith No More in "Counterfeit" are among their absolute best works. Periodically, when I feel like listening to something heavy and angry, I gladly put it back on the turntable. The subsequent albums will, however, be too pandering.

The album is really great, although I prefer Crown of Creation, to which I attribute a divine West Coast spleen, perhaps also because of the Triad by Master Crosby, and probably that volunteer endowed with that combination of disillusionment and despair characteristic of the unique 1969... an essential record for anyone, in any case.

Between Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and this album here, we are filling Debaser with dusty freakadelic relics that haven't lost an ounce of their wonderful effectiveness… just like the Dead, I believe that the ABs also performed their best in a live setting, but this is still a remarkable album. Well done!

Thank you for the comments. Your impressions confirm that it is difficult to find an album that satisfies all Grateful Dead fans, except of course for "Live Dead"....... this one comes very close, and without "What's become of the baby" it might actually deserve the title of the group's masterpiece. I also really appreciate "Workingman's Dead." @maurixio. All my own ideas, what do you think eheheh!
