the last great album by the old Lou without a shadow of a doubt_
American Music Club Mercury
Voto:
I don't know if this is one of the most important albums of the 90s: surely they were among the best in the early 90s to carry over the more classic "americana" sounds beyond the grunge era without falling into mere Marlboro country revival.....I believe their best album is "everclear" anyway. And Mark Eitzel, even as a solo artist, has proven to be great. Perfect analysis, well done.
Francis Ford Coppola Apocalypse Now

damn, I mentioned Wagner twice, once in place of Rimbaud...

Well done, to review such a monumental work, an impossible collision of Conrad/Freud/Wagner/Vietnam/Doors Wagner, one must throw a stone into the pond, and you did it wonderfully.
Ronnie Hawkins The Best Of Ronnie Hawkins And The Hawks

Thank you all for the comments, especially to pretazzo: bubi, you're right, I left out the experience of the hawks, but only for the sake of brevity: the review ended up being a bit long, and in the end, I had to cut something, also considering that other albums by the band had already been reviewed and that there's a fairly complete picture of the group on deBasEr. Also, thanks to your review which I had missed, but I’ll read right away. Thank you.
Steven Spielberg Schindler's List

well done.
Peter Weir The Truman Show

a somewhat overrated film, the critique of the media is certainly not new and is presented in a rather obvious way, and even a nonetheless immense Carrey isn’t enough to cover the flaws in direction and screenplay.
