I don't know if this is one of the most important albums of the 90s: surely they were among the best in the early 90s to carry over the more classic "americana" sounds beyond the grunge era without falling into mere Marlboro country revival.....I believe their best album is "everclear" anyway. And Mark Eitzel, even as a solo artist, has proven to be great. Perfect analysis, well done.

Thank you all for the comments, especially to pretazzo: bubi, you're right, I left out the experience of the hawks, but only for the sake of brevity: the review ended up being a bit long, and in the end, I had to cut something, also considering that other albums by the band had already been reviewed and that there's a fairly complete picture of the group on deBasEr. a somewhat overrated film, the critique of the media is certainly not new and is presented in a rather obvious way, and even a nonetheless immense Carrey isn’t enough to cover the flaws in direction and screenplay.
