The album was indeed slaughtered at the time of its release: for those less distracted, it was clear how much of a step forward it was from the melodic tricks of the rather likable debut, and that the strengthening, the increasing abrasiveness, and chaotic nature (a bit like "in utero") reflected a significant artistic growth, which was evident in the songwriting. But at the time, grunge (a genre that the group shamelessly rode the wave of) was declining, and the specialized press, after having praised every dog and cat, turned to summary stoning. For me, it's a three and a half-star album, the peak of which is certainly "El scorcho": it wouldn't have looked out of place in Jonathan Richman's repertoire. Excellent review.

Odor of crime? "fragu" in Sardinian means smell, perhaps "fragranza di reato" could be interpreted as a light smell.... quite fitting for the character in question!

I don't like them, they're too redundant and grandiose: a classic case of a band trying to become bigger than their own music.

"Lucio, start writing and playing like you know how to. And fire the marketing team." I would also suggest he remove the wig (or the transplanted hair).

Alongside "sorpasso," our most significant film from that unrepeatable historical period. A classic.

I remember when I was very little and I have hazy memories of it...a sumptuous review as always.
