Beautiful album, certainly more flirtatious than the early incarnations of Ubu, but still of excellent quality. This shows that Thomas and the others have a "total" talent.

For me, the success of crappy Latin-pop remains a mystery, unlike that of Arcade Fire. They may not be a seminal band, but they certainly deserve some respect, unlike the aforementioned commercial crap.

I wanted to ask you, Maurinok60, since I've noticed your passion for new wave/post punk: have you happened to read Simon Reynolds' book that came out a few years ago, "Post Punk 78-84"? I'm reading it these days and it seems great to me; I wanted to hear the opinion of an "expert" enthusiast. :D
