I would discourage you from both and direct you towards a thorough listening of the greatest masterpieces by Cristina D'Avena...
Steve Vai Sex And Religion

Super boring... utterly useless
Steve Vai Passion & Warfare
Voto:
Banale like all Steve Vai's albums...great guitarist, terrible composer...
Black Sabbath Paranoid

Grandissimi, one of the ten most influential groups in the history of rock. Iommi may not be the best guitarist, but he beats Steve Vai in terms of originality and attitude, there's no doubt about it. Steve Vai may be the best guitarist in the world, but I've rarely come across such bland and flat albums as his.

I've never liked them, but I must say that the covers are elegant.
Joe Pass Intercontinental

One of the greatest jazz guitarists, perhaps the greatest, I have "Montreaux '77" by Pass and it's fabulous!

What the heeeeeck??? How dare you put the term "disgusting" and the term "Black Sabbath" in the same sentence??!? :) As those legends Manowar say (a band I absolutely LOVE), you're a FALSE METALHEAD, or something like that... :)

In fact, I only have the albums by Genesis with Peter Gabriel... however, I don't quite agree about Yes; in my humble opinion, they never really commercialized too much. I have the album that includes "Owner of a Lonely Heart," and I must say I really like it... anyway, the Genesis from "Nursery Cryme" to "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" are absolutely magnificent and brilliant.
