Beautiful review for a great album. The post-Astral Weeks/Moondance Van Morrison is, in my opinion, quite undervalued. Maybe he hasn't reached those levels again (which is, by the way, not an easy thing to do), but he has still made some great albums.

"Otherwise, you listen to instrumental music." In fact, I listen to a lot of instrumental music... well, supersoul, if you think I'm someone who idolizes U2, I think you're mistaken... I just say that I'm more interested in the music than in the lyrics/concepts that a band wants to express/disseminate. The fact that I respect the Crass as people doesn't change what I think of their compositional ability.
