What can I say, cptgaio reaffirms himself... let's not say more. We’ve argued about this page, I don’t agree with many of your attitudes and hypotheses, but compliments on the review and also for making me understand what it means to be Neapolitan. I've been to Naples several times (almost always in passing) and I have friends who study there, so I've only brushed against what you describe. Just so you know, when I arrived at the station with a friend, we were searched and then the police advised us not to take a certain bus because it was frequented by thieves, in short, a great welcome. Besides that, it seems to me that Naples has several livable areas and that despite its enormous problems, it is one of the few semi-anarchic global oases, perhaps for this reason you are hated by the authorities and ridiculed by all of Italy.

very beautiful but inferior to Demons and Wizards. It's a transitional album that isn't perfectly focused, but still excellent. The best songs? Time to Live and the title track, really surprising.
Massimo Mazzucco I padroni del mondo
Voto:
I don't know what documentary you watched, but comparing "i padroni del mondo" to Voyager seems to me a bit presumptuous and biased against the character. First of all, unlike other UFO documentaries, this one never discusses alien hypotheses, nor does it speculate on who is behind the UFOs, and there’s really no theory involved (in fact, Mazzucco is not a ufologist). It simply presents the evidence and government reports, and once you finish watching this documentary, if you don't have your head in the sand, you'll realize that there is a UFO problem and that various government apparatuses are involved. The intelligence of the documentary lies precisely in being light years away from Giacobbo or Ruggeri, as it doesn’t make any assumptions but rather shows data, documents, and various footage, which I don’t think is insignificant.
Denying the UFO phenomenon, in my opinion, is like burying your head in the sand; it exists, and it's huge. You can say that there are no aliens behind it, but with a bit of serious study and by staying away from mythomaniacs, fanatics, and various disinformers, you'll realize there's a lot of truth to it and that several scientific personalities admit its reality. Furthermore, several world governments acknowledge its existence and have made available to the public all the records of civilian and military sightings, including those from Mexico and partly from France.
John Carpenter Halloween - La Notte Delle Streghe

I also really like Escape from L.A. The criticisms of this film always stem from the fact that many have seen it after Escape from New York, which for many is tied to childhood memories, but that’s a great film too; after all, Carpenter was great even in the '90s!
John Carpenter Halloween - La Notte Delle Streghe

For me, the best Carpenter horror will always be Prince of Darkness, but this is another masterpiece. After Big Trouble in Little China, he made They Live, Prince of Darkness, and In the Mouth of Madness—forget about a downturn in quality. Not to mention the first episode of the Masters of Horror series. Then, Vampires is a fun movie in a good way; it may not reach the heights of his past work, but it’s very entertaining and has some remarkable scenes.
883 La Donna, Il Sogno & Il Grande Incubo

Well, let’s say that at least since the 883 (being music without pretensions that doesn’t aim to be serious and cultured) you can escape and not get caught up in it, and their fans aren’t even fanatical; they don’t ruin the musical journey since it’s music that can be listened to until a maximum age of 18 (even though there are rare cases that go beyond). In short, it’s produced under the mediocre but not harmful, they stand a notch above Cristina D'Avena, and they’ve managed to come out with a few good singles. "Sei un mito" listened to at a tender age leads to listening to real rock, word of Francesco Amadori!
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds

better than Revolver, an incredible album, with arrangements and production that are still enviable today. It's not an album for first listens even though it's pop and the tracks are quite "linear," and this is due to the truly complex and elegant arrangements that turn each song into a mini-suite. One of my favorite albums...
Pearl Jam Ten
Pearl Jam Ten

But if Pearl Jam together with all the grunge bands have completely buried and relegated the AOR genre to the underground, taking it off the charts, how can we define "Ten" as AOR? Even in the themes and atmospheres, it really doesn’t have anything to do with AOR; rather, it has a strong radio appeal and is a straightforward album (probably the easiest to listen to from the band). In my opinion, the strong melodies and traditional sound are misleading. Anyway, it's a great album, perhaps a bit too traditional and radio-friendly to love it unconditionally, but it’s beautiful, historic, and generational!
Fear Factory Mechanize

In my opinion, you're saying some nonsense. Archetype is a great album (it's kind of the record that synthesizes their whole journey), Demanufacture is a masterpiece of 90s metal, Obsolete and Digimortal are excellent, more melodic albums. The only one I haven't listened to is Transgression. This really intrigues me...
