Sieges Even The Art Of Navigating By The Stars
Voto:
Bought the original a few months ago. A CD that is hard to appreciate at first listens, especially for those who expect a prog metal filled with various time changes and distorted riffs. In fact, I find it difficult to classify this work as prog metal. Definitely a good job. My rating is a 4-.
Dimmu Borgir World Misanthropy (Standard Version)
Voto:
Dimmu Borgir are not rotten, they don't play pure black metal, but symphonic, and even in their older albums, there’s always a massive dose of melody. Try “Enthrone Darkness Triumphant” (for me, their best work), where some tracks have a certain elegance, even if they are less symphonic there, but you can definitely hear the piano!

But how many nicknames does Poletti have?

Has the new album by coolras already been released? What's the title?
Incubus Make Yourself

The Incubus could even start composing tarantellas, as they would still be interesting and unique, thanks to their talent as exceptional composers who are never mundane. This band, despite not inventing anything with this album, manages in an original and personal way to interpret post-grunge and crossover sounds with results that, in my opinion, are successful. I agree with the review; it may not have the same genius as s.c.i.e.n.c.e., but it’s an excellent album. 4.5!
Paradise Lost Paradise Lost
Voto:
The cover doesn’t seem that metal to me as you say! If Paradise Lost talked about a return to the past, they were surely not referring to albums like "Gothic" or "Shades of God," but to "Icon" and "Draconian Times." It’s practically impossible for Paradise Lost to return to death-doom sounds.

what a majestic triad my dying bride-anathema and paradise lost! On an emotional level, I would also include Katatonia, which, despite notable differences, have followed the same path as anathema and paradise lost: from death doom to more relaxed and melancholic rock, except for my dying bride, the only ones who have remained attached to their early days or at least within the scene.
Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii

beatboy, look, it’s not a shame to listen to the Red Hot, at least the old ones were among the most influential rock bands from the late 80s to the 90s! Of course, if you listen to them and you’ve only heard the work from Californication onwards, I can understand you…

a somewhat superficial comment, lux. I think it would have been better if you had added that. Like it or not, they were important for a genre. I agree with what Fidia said.
