Unfortunately, I listened to these compositions carelessly, when I still didn't have an "trained" ear, but I know the "air" well; it is a sublime composition, it has a strange magic that seems to connect you with the entire cosmos, breathing an atmosphere of greatness and infinity. It's a shame that it's remembered as the composition from the show "Quark" here in Italy.

The beautiful thing is that, strangely, the accusation of lack of originality is directed at metal (which is very varied within itself) and never at punk or grunge, which, unlike metal, are genres that are more highly regarded. Yet in the end, especially punk is a genre that has very little innovation. Mysteries of life!

I echo Fidia's last comment. Alessioride, it’s not that someone gets offended; it’s that you’re just ignorant. Your last comment shows that you only know Iron Maiden and maybe a few other bands. One piece of advice: it’s better to remain silent about what you don’t know; it prevents you from making a fool of yourself. Talking about virility, solos, and homophobia while associating them with metal shows that perhaps you only know a few bands, maybe from the 80s.

Metal is also a relatively young genre compared to others, in the sense that it took shape in the '80s, so it's normal that there are few thirty-somethings who listen to this genre, but you forgot the third way niibio, those who stop being metalheads but continue to listen to something, just to tell you that someone who listens to metal isn't necessarily a metalhead, and it's actually foolish at thirty to confine oneself to a label.

Fidia, look, the point isn’t about current metal. Alessioride is making a general statement, talking about metal as a genre with little originality overall, not specifically referencing 2006, precisely because he doesn’t know a damn thing about metal. To talk about a lack of originality means you really don’t understand the genre. The fact is that in our time, more metal albums are being produced than food (eh), in short, it's an inflated market; this is also why 90% of releases are pure garbage or already heard, but that 10% manages to surprise. Just to say that in the rock scene these days, innovation is almost nonexistent, whereas even if it's only one band out of a hundred, at least in metal, an evolutionary discussion continues.

But who are you, heron in disguise? Sure, in the metal scene, strangely, everyone is an expert and thinks they know it so well. Perhaps you haven't realized that by only listening to Metallica or Iron Maiden, you can't say you know metal. A little humility, preach if you really care about what you know and what you are good at. Take that!!!
