Anathema Judgement

There aren’t many records as beautiful and moving as this one. With this album, Anathema could easily dethrone bands like Radiohead or Muse. It’s a shame that the vast majority of humanity listening to rock music hasn’t noticed this gem. But as they say, “nobody is a prophet in their own land.”

I wanted to say fragile dreams. I wrote with my feet!

Great album, the best alongside Judgment. The title track is an unsettling, psychedelic, and dark piece that matches the atmosphere of the entire album. Then Fragile Dremass is an emotional masterpiece, and I also felt it live in Rome. Masterpiece!!!!

What the hell does feminism have to do with it? Vic's review is just funny, that's all. He's done better ones that are more entertaining; in fact, I gave him a 4. Otherwise, he could have written that women were inferior, but if the review was engaging and made me laugh, I would have given it a 5 anyway! This is a site where serious discussions about music happen, but jokes and nonsense are also thrown around. You take Vic too seriously. He's laughing like crazy because, as usual, he got your attention and created a stir, which is exactly what he wants! Again, 4, there you go!

I get your opinion, man; I know you weren't denying the rock component that you consider to be of low level, but that component really adds something extra. For me, rap has a philosophy of life—artificial if you want, fake, created by the media, okay, but if you don't adopt it, you're kicked in the ass. And it concerns clothing, anger against society, and so on and so forth. In short, even taking metalheads as an example, their view of life might not be unified—there are many internal differences—but there are some fixed points that make you say "hey, that’s a metalhead," and it's the same for the rapper! At least the rapper that the media presents to us, because I only know about rap from the little I've seen on MTV, so I could be wrong. Maybe rap in the '80s and '90s was something different compared to today's, where hip-hop has also come into play!

nice review but I'm lowering the rating to be fair!

Without the rock component, RATM would be just a simple rap group, so they are far from being the best rap group in the world! You can't call Rage a rap band, they are more of a crossover. The label discussion is pointless, but rap is also a philosophy of life that I don't see in Rage.
Anyway, Antonellina, another 4 in Vic, take that!!!!

I really liked "reroute to remain," it showed how In Flames were anything but a stable band. I still need to listen to this. Great review!

a hilarious review if taken ironically. You've done better, though, great! I don’t know these guys and I don’t think I ever will. But you went a bit hard on the rage. Whether they like it or not, they influenced 90s rock. As for whether they copied something, well, in today’s rock, it’s hard not to play a riff that's already been done!
