I’ve always said that their 4 albums from the golden period between '68 and '72 were enough to outshine any band, and that in the '70s they were the best. But you know, there are so many progressive boys here, so dumbfounded by keyboards that they don’t realize what band the Rolling Stones were.

It's the Lynch film I prefer, even though the first director to bring this type of characters to the screen was Tod Browning, about 60 years before Lynch.

It's obvious that The Last House on Dead End Street is a fake, and like all snuff films, I saw that movie too. The girl tortured on the table, with the head of a voodoo doll resting next to her face, is pure perversion. But as sick as the film is, it didn't leave much of an impression on me, at least not as much as the scene from Man Behind the Sun, the one with the cat in the rat room, which is real.

When I say horror movies, I mean things like Deep Red, Suspiria, etc., while cannibal films trigger emotions other than fear; even snuff movies aren't scary at all, let's say they rather require a strong stomach.

Damn, I can believe that in Japan this film is considered a cult; they are used to films like this, just think of the man behind the sun genre. Anyway, I’ve seen other films by Deodato, but he hasn’t reached these levels again.
