Mentors You Axed For It!

thank goodness there were also the plasmatics to do shock rock.
Michael Yonkers Microminiature Love
Voto:
very good, great recovery, an album truly ahead of its time, microminiatures love and kill the enemy perfect pre-Christmas soundtracks and scat jam sounds like an L.A. blues played from the afterlife, great record.
The Defectors Bruised And Satisfied

These Danes aren't bad, even if they exaggerate a bit too much with these keyboards. You can definitely tell they've grown up with the Miracle Workers' records under their pillows; I haven't heard this one, but baby gimme love! I like it a lot.

I've been wanting to write a review on the Devil Dogs, Honeymoon Killers, and Crome Cranks for 8 months now; I need to get my act together, damn Buddha.

Absolutely fantastic, super great page! But as you may have understood, here on Debaser, garage rock bands are only for a select group of enthusiasts. This album by Union Carbide is a great unknown, and together with the Nomads, they laid the groundwork for the hordes of garage rockers in the '90s like the Hellacopters and their mates. The Unions, however, underwent a metamorphosis in the '90s that would lead them to become the Soundtrack of Our Lives, significantly domesticating their sound while remaining original.
The Dictators Go Girl Crazy

I believe that the best album they ever made is the live one released in '81 on cassette by Roir, reissued on CD under the name New York New York. They really crush it with the covers of "Search and Destroy" and "What Goes On," which are devastating. However, listening to this album was a total disappointment for me. A 2.5.
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures

I like the cover that the bassholes do of interzone.
Destroy All Monsters Bored
Voto:
truly impressive the singing of Niagara, Kim Gordon is practically a photocopy.

Well, there was no need to comment on the review anymore; you're already a certainty. I had both New Race and Sonic Rendezvous from Scott Asheton, while I only knew the Destroy by name. Anyway, half an hour after I read the review, I already had both Bored and the live 81-83? in my possession. I must say, they've really got me hooked; after all, it was known that Asheton was the most underrated guitarist ever. I'm even listening to them right now. You're preparing the Union, great!
