In this sense, for me, the final scene of this film is simply phenomenal and revolutionary.

First of all, thank you all.
Gabri, my thought is this: Christian doctrine and official history have taught us that the word of God was spread in Europe by Peter, who is also credited with the birth of the Roman Church (the first pope), and by his disciples (all men).
Perhaps the clerical attitude of closure and discrimination towards women, the incomprehensible bigotry towards sex and many other related ethical issues, are based precisely on this historical reflection.
That is, the Church has felt, throughout history, legitimized to have such an attitude towards women and on many other related issues, such as that regarding sexual relationships, always viewed with fear and silly superstition, precisely reinforcing these beliefs about Peter's story as the messenger of Christ.
Now, my question is this: what would have happened if the Church had been founded by Mary Magdalene or, in any case, by a woman?
With a woman as the messenger of Christ, would we have had 2000 years of wars and genocides, most of which were perpetrated in the name of God?

No, it wasn't the answer I was thinking of, but you show yourself to be an extremely sensitive person for what you wrote (absolutely true, by the way), and it's a quality I find increasingly rare these days. Hi.

This is an absolutely amazing album, definitely the best since October Rust. More doom and hardcore, less gothic. Lovers of Type and Sabbath should not miss it. I join in the compliments on September Sun, simply fabulous.

I also thank the latest commenters, especially alter ego for his insight regarding the ending and Bartle for offering a different, very interesting perspective that makes one reflect.
Still referring to you O Bartle (;-D), the scene that raised my rating by a point is the concluding one.
However, no one has yet answered my final question from the review.
Bartle, would you like to do it first?

Thank you, Chandler, always extremely kind.
It's a pity you haven't seen the film; I assure you it’s worth it, also because Ferrara's take on all the topics addressed, in a personal way and free from the bigotries of fundamentalist Catholic puritanism, I believe aligns with yours (and mine, of course).

If you want to know my email, I posted it on a crossed CD of Bauhaus that was promised to me by some guy who still has to get in touch with me.

Sanjuro, my name is Vincenzo, I’m 30 years old.
I’m a newly minted civil lawyer looking for a law firm (even if it means moving abroad) where I can work as an employee or looking for colleagues with whom to open my own practice, hoping one day to be able to make a living from it.
I’m still uncertain about which path to take.
Right now, I feel a bit like that lawyer from The Simpsons who, rummaging through the trash outside their house, realizes he needs a babysitter and immediately offers to take the job for $8 and an old birdcage.
I’m responding here because I don’t want to mess up another review too much, and this one already seems to be well on its way.
I understand what you want to say and to some extent, I agree with you.
That said, however, I believe one of the reasons for Debaser's existence (at least for me) is to introduce music or films to others.
In the music field, thanks to those descriptive reviews that you dislike so much, I have broadened my knowledge incredibly.
Honestly, I don’t see the reason why you fixate so much on this aspect.
Personally, beyond the reason I’ve already mentioned, I enjoy writing on the site to spend a few carefree minutes.
In short, it’s a sort of hobby that keeps me occupied when I have the time.
I’ve also met some very interesting people, and that’s also thanks to descriptive reviews like the ones you don’t like.
I honestly find it pointless to wage a war over this aspect of the site, as if it were something serious.
Seeing De Baser for what it is—a review site where opinions and tastes are exchanged—I think is the most sensible attitude to have.
At least, that’s how I experience it, and I like it for that.
Because I can spend a few carefree moments writing and commenting, and engaging with interesting people.
Those who take it seriously, in my view, are making a big mistake.
