Then what De Baser claims would be a biased site is truly Oscar-worthy, not to mention a contradiction in terms. A site made up of reviews written and commented on by users (who are definitely not professionals and write and comment just for fun) would be biased? To liz, I repeat, and not to stir up controversy since I understand you haven’t reached maturity yet, try to be more objective in your arguments. Be careful, I don’t mean to be objective about music because it’s clear that tastes are subjective, but at least have the maturity to separate musical tastes from other issues. You will admit that the presence of many critics of the band doesn’t mean that De Baser is a biased site, simply because the tastes of the people who come here to comment and write cannot be biased. But why, linking back to the previous post, do you think the critics of the band (who are the majority here) are paid to comment negatively on them? I’ll answer you right away, absolutely not. If the majority of users who frequent the site (myself included) dislike the band, you have to accept that and move on, since there are more important things in life. If you don’t like it, refrain from sharing your thoughts on the site, don’t come here anymore, and go buy those nice music magazines that you consider so objective and that perhaps peddle artists like the Blue or Jesse McCartney as good music to kids.

Liz, I'm saying this not to stir up controversy, mind you, but out of curiosity, how old are you? You've put up a defense of this group as if they were your relatives. Do they pay you to defend them like this? Is Amy your sister? Your unwavering support for the album is truly admirable, but beyond the fact that the only argument you present is that I'm talking nonsense (clearly you have no other reasons to support), are you aware of the Latin aphorism "de gustibus non disputandum est"? So, I'm just talking nonsense because I said that Evanescence makes me sick? Well, then I'm happy to spout nonsense, and if you want, I'll write it again... Evanescence MAKES ME SICK. I can listen to the album as many times as I want, but the essence will never change because Evanescence MAKES ME SICK. I hope you don't have the bad taste to argue about my tastes now, because otherwise I would increasingly convince myself that you are just a kid who wants to defend their paper idols at all costs (as if you have something to gain from it).

Let me explain, Zion, since I absolutely don't have a penchant for being the one who releases definitive posts.
I wrote "fundamentals" because, according to many, they are the most well-known and beautiful.
Since I'm not familiar with the entire discography of the group, I had to educate myself about the Cocteau Twins, and obviously, if many people tell me to buy those two because they are fundamental, what should I do, buy another less-known one to be alternative?
Then, thanks to comments like yours or the review above, I can discover that there are also other good albums and listen to them.

You are right, I only read the first part of the sentence and wrote instinctively. I apologize to the reviewer.

By the way, if the eighties are mediocre, from 2000 onwards there's the absolute zero, considering all the similar pop, similar punk for kids, nu metal for kids, and the tons of bands and singers that calling them terrible seems a sweet euphemism, vomited out by that factory of the hideous known as MTV.

I just needed your phrase "about the mediocre 80s."
Sure, why not, go tell that to people like Sisters of Mercy, Killing Joke, Christian Death, the Cult from their early albums, the Cure from their early albums, Depeche Mode in the 80s, Fields of the Nephilim, Husker Du, Stranglers, and so many others that I’m unfortunately not recalling right now.
Well, sure, if we are so superficial, writing based on clichés, maybe thinking of Poison all made up like whores or "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," then banality takes over.
What a shame to speak in commonplaces, really a shame.

I'll reveal the doubt to you.
The current Lacuna Coil make me cringe too, it's just that the Evanescence make me shit myself, unfortunately.
Ah, for the record, I listened to both this and the previous one almost in full.
That "almost" is due to the fact that at a certain point I couldn't take it anymore and turned off the stereo. Happy now, anonymous?
P.S.: obviously it's more of a half-wit who doesn't authenticate himself than someone who says what he thinks directly.
Or don’t you believe?

Yes, Heron, but let’s keep the Gatherings distinct from these crooks, please. As they say in my region, let's not mix bark with beans.

It would be pointless to argue about the monumental nonsense reported by the silly, irritating, and ignorant Bisius, but I wholeheartedly agree with everything said by Bartle and the others, and I add that there's no need to respond to a character like this. Read the comments and his review on Gotthard for further confirmation.
