What the hell do I know... Rome is a place where anyone can piss! All the interesting bands don't go below Rimini anymore. The Init, besides being a perfect venue for acoustics, was the only one to support local bands with guts (and there are a few). We're at the end of our rope, Radio Rock with its suck-up nights at Qube, the Ostia waterfront with a sweaty tattoo and Barbarossa for free. There's still the Circolo degli Artisti (Radio Città Futura) and occasionally the Classico Village... but the Init was our own private CBGB's without bosses or subjects!!!

In a couple of years, I'll like them too; not right now. Perfect reception in the BASTA MERDA style.

The Hatfield covering Loose??? It's so nice when someone doesn't know a thing about a band/album, and then someone comes along and says, "Here you go, take note."

non-existent typo: "Captain HErlock" in English, "Capitan HArlock" in Italian. nani editors, we're talking to someone who has the entire series on DVD as well as photos from the carnival of '86, '87, '88, and '90 (in '89 I was dressed as Mark Lenders) in the Captain's costume.

They came in the winter of 2003 for a memorable concert at the Init (legend upon legend, aridàtece l'Init!!!) and took the stage by storm, making me fall in love with their synth keyboards. They broke up two years later, but Miss Trout is now one of the smartest producers in the underground scene of Memphis. Jay Reatard is still playing (Reatards, Bad Times, Final Solutions), but in general, if you're looking for something similar to their sound, just cast a line into the In the Red catalog and wait.

A review written with a lot of attitude, as we say around here. Very good. However, I’ve listened to the album and 5 stars seem really excessive. Let’s go for an honest 3.5 and a slice of meat.

Yes, I listened to the whole album on MySpace: it's another great hit, but this "Los Valientes" still takes all my points.

Oh God, I would say it's really an ugly record. And how much is left of a band like that?....
