Oh yes, you’re right Dave: thanks Syd but also thanks to all the others: Ruggero Acque, Riccardo Vrait, Nicola Massone, and Davide Ghilmoro........thanks to everyone.

Regarding Madonna, it takes time to do the research and find all the necessary bibliography, including sophisticated and enticing terms: in short, you can't always use the same insults...

I knew you would poke me about zoot allures :) ....by "honest" I mean very good, come on! However, besides the 2/3 gems included, I’ve always found it not a full masterpiece; the same goes for bongo fury: undoubtedly a lot of fun, but lesser. Let’s be clear, though, in muffin man there's one of the most beautiful solos by Uncle Frank, huh? ........... however, one size is clearly superior to the 2, come on! :)

The correct pronunciation is: darcsaid of de mùn (I believe it's a dialect from Turkey or something from the province of Alghero)......anyway, they are not bad kids; recently I saw the leader Ruggero Acque (translation in Italian) live: not bad, I just don't understand why all the members of the group are of such an advanced age: maybe they didn't come out in 1998/99 as I thought: could they be older than Porcupine Tree? And I thought they had inspired Wilson's band.........

great last piece of advice.......And then try another album titled Dark Side of the Moon by those Pink Floyd....I remember it wasn't bad :) @antò: the added names are fine, why not? at this point let’s throw in Gassman and Mazzini as well :)

only the first 2 minutes are a masterpiece in its purest form......but the whole album is too.....At the time I didn’t vote, I don’t know......five solid!

Easy, Zappa surely didn’t have as much influence as, for example, Led Zeppelin, totally agree... however, it’s important to mention the significance of his lesson, especially when thinking in terms of approach to music. This point is essential, and even if you don't actually hear Zappa echoes from a strictly musical standpoint in a certain group, it is by no means excluded that his lesson was absorbed. In this, above all, he was a great: maximum expressive freedom (even if sometimes accompanied by truly serious and ambitious musical studies and research - but we must acknowledge that Zappa was indeed from another planet compared to other greats, let me say...). The one thing I can say for sure is that if I were asked to name a handful of artists to remember in the future regarding music (of all kinds) from the last 50 years, I would mention both Zappa and the Zeppelin, just to keep everyone happy :)

great Dave: this was something that was truly needed; in short, there was a glaring hole in the debaserian zappian board......and you filled it very well. Epic record is an understatement......and if you think I found the original on vinyl now but it costs a whopping 120 euros.....what to do: buy it or not buy it? that is the dilemma......
