Porcupine Tree Deadwing

I love the early Porcupine Tree a lot, but I'll let you in on a secret lux: I've also sometimes been hit by the question: am I sure? really sure?.......deep down, I always answered yes, and let's face it: that yes was well justified.....As for the post-coma divine works, well, I kinda gave up a bit: either too mannered or with few ideas (I think they wanted to renew themselves, but the operation didn't quite succeed, in my opinion)......and aside from a few scattered gems here and there (because the talent and musical skill with Wilson and co. are unquestionable), I've always felt a bit uncertain, especially regarding In Absentia. As for Deadwing, we're pretty much in the same place as the previous one, maybe even less interesting: I mean, the review is valid, I'll probably give the album no less than three, because let's face it, we could use more bands like this today, we really could...........Ah, "Arriving Somewhere...." is beautiful; it may have a rhetorical flavor, but it's beautiful. Saludos;) P.S.: the Blackwater Park you mentioned, what is it? Does it relate to No Man's Land by any chance?

Mmmm...you've got me thinking (is that how you say it?). I’ll get it, it seems very interesting: of course, the orchestra members, after the musical performance, show their member to the audience, evoking scenes reminiscent of Morrison, right?!.....;)

I know them from a couple of songs, but the existence of this album was unknown to me.... However, you've piqued my interest, maybe I'll hop on the mule to download....... Good review, I believe the album less ;)

I believe instead that "l'apparenza" and "la sposa" are the least accessible at a first listen; I find them more intimate than the others and more "minimalist" (forgive the term): "csar" is the least difficult from that point of view, I think, along with "don giovanni".......... my favorite remains "la sposa" anyway, at least I think so :)
