Sometimes you need these brief trips into the glorious rock past. Magnificent, both they and the review!

I totally dissociate myself from your review! I think the first Muse album deserves a 4, the second a 5, and this one a 3!!! It's true, of the three it’s the worst, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Muse are still a good band compared to many others while remaining in the mainstream.
Anyway, I believe that the album, so enchanting upon first listens and disappointing in the long run, is a result of the strategies of the new major label they signed with. This label required immediate accessibility for everyone, rather than an engaged album. Major label politics!!!

The rating is very high, a 5 that I reserve only for masterpieces, but the review doesn't speak of it in enthusiastic tones. After all, they had intrigued me for a long time. What to do? Should I look for them or not look for them?!?!?!!?

Mr. Iko, the answer Mercury would give you is all in the quote that concludes the review. This is Freddie, his thought, and this is the immense strength that sustained him until the last moment! It's this awareness of having given his all, the maximum, that allows him to look at us like this, proud, sincere, and full of pride, from the cover (from "tamarro"?!??!).

Thank you, Kosmo. Can you believe I was lucky enough to find this album on CD, an original used for 12,000 lire!!! It's in mint condition and it's the first album I'd take to a deserted island! Here's the dedication inside: "This album is dedicated to my cat Jerry-also Tom Oscar and Tiffany and all the cat lovers across the universe-screw everybody else." Self-deprecating, yes it's true, but perhaps one of the few really sincere about his condition as a homosexual in a time when it seemed to be fashionable!

I don't know the disco-group-genre, am I unforgivable? The review seems well written anyway and your enthusiasm is contagious. I need to catch up!

As far as I'm concerned, the best Irish band is The Commitments!! We bring Soul to Dublin!!!! Go Rabbitte!!! Although this album and perhaps the next two weren't half bad!

Maybe you say little about the album, but you perfectly capture the tragedy of the events. Anyway, you write really smoothly; it’s a pleasure to read you!
