I've never really digested the group, but the idea that Dando is Cobain's alter ego seems like a very bold statement to me. That grunge is boring and heavy is another opinion of yours that I don't share, but I just don't get the sanitized version of the adolescent outbursts of Husker Du. What’s left of Husker Du if you clean them up? You take the soul away from Zen Arcade if you sanitize it!

Searching the internet, I discovered that immediately after the release of the album in question, the cover was changed and replaced with a black cardboard featuring the parental advisory label prominently displayed, after the viewing of the aforementioned caused the suicide of three young boys, 8 cases of apparent coma, the homosexuality of 18 young heirs from good families, and it seems (though the sources here are conflicting) also the first case of human leishmaniasis.
