A beautiful description of the Pistols phenomenon, who may not be musically outstanding, but managed to give a good kick in the ass to respectability and the self-righteous, and were able to voice a political, existential, and social discomfort that was widely felt among the youth of the time. I cast my vote for the group and what they represented and what they will continue to represent.
