Quoting Christ: "neji anni '90". J, k, and w are not part of the Italian alphabet. Holy shit!

@Everyone: Thanks for the comments. @Editors: (my mistake) the rating is actually 4 stars. It would be 5 stars if we considered the pure musical aspect. Anyway, 4 stars it is. @Dante: Nothing is like the little bottom of a beautiful blonde on the beach :p, not even the kaizers!

One of those movies that when they end don't leave you with that sense of treacle in your mouth. Beautiful in my opinion, exaggerated, brash, evil, and at the same time comical. Definitely a 5, no matter what our "mega-critic" Poletti says.

For once I agree with DaveJon. Presumptuous as few and not endowed with all this class. Origin of simmetry is acceptable, this is truly annoying!

Let me explain myself even better. The early albums would be good even if sung by another singer (they wouldn't have the same impact but would still be great nonetheless), whereas in this album, without his voice, there would be a strong sense of "emptiness."

I mean to say that up until New Adventures in Hi-Fi, they had been trying to improve themselves, bringing in novelties and changes. There was still a breath of "wanting to do" in the air. From there on, I feel like I see a compositional void that is partly filled by Stipe's fantastic voice. That's all. Relax, the weekend is coming.

Boiled from New adventures in hi-fi onwards. Totally boiled. Imagine this album without Stipe's vocal stamp and you'll understand its value. 3, just because they are still great.

I only have "Good News for People Who Love Bad News" by them, and it's an album I like quite a bit but that has never completely hooked me. Still, it's high-level indie.

Glad to have spent an hour reading all the comments. A round of applause to everyone!

Can you give it an 8? Simply the best example of science fiction of the time, the birth of cyberpunk culture (to say the least). Essential. Ah...the replicants! A review that doesn't fully fulfill its duty to idolize such a masterpiece.
