Judging a guitarist is tough. What makes a good guitarist? Fast? Exciting? What criteria do we use? There isn’t one. It’s like saying who the best painter or the best actor is. I don’t know… opinions will always be divided. Technically, Vai, Satriani, Malmsteen, etc. are all incredibly skilled. Fast and clean! But I’m not a fan! I adore Hendrix. He changed the perception of the electric guitar! And BB King? One note, but played damn well, in the right place, hitting straight to the heart! I don’t know. If I had to choose, I would say Hendrix… that's it.
