THE REVIEW

In my opinion, a good album.

Indeed, the change made by Metallica in sound and style may not be appreciated by everyone, but this album, if listened to carefully, gives great emotions.

Certainly, we are far from what 'Tallica was during 'Ride the Lightning' or 'Kill 'Em All', but anyway Kirk's solos are excellent and James's voice rocks, yet unfortunately, it lacks a bit of the Lars from the golden days, as the drums don't stand out in any particular song.

Tracks like "Fuel, Bad Seed, Carpe Diem Baby" are excellent. Tracks like "The Unforgiven II" are a joke, as they can't even be compared to "The Unforgiven" from the Black Album, from which it takes its name.

Overall, I believe this album is a "decent" work which nonetheless is the representation of a band that died in 1991.

Summary by Bot

This review regards Metallica's Reload as a good but divisive album. While Kirk Hammett’s guitar solos and James Hetfield’s vocals shine, the drums lack prominence. Some tracks like 'Fuel' stand out, but others like 'The Unforgiven II' disappoint. The reviewer sees Reload as a decent work but a sign of the band's decline since 1991.

Metallica

Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in 1981 by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. They rose from the Bay Area thrash scene with early albums like Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning, achieved mainstream success with 1991's Metallica (The Black Album), and have released a long-running and often debated catalog since.

This album is titled "RELOAD". The lack of originality in the title and cover promises nothing good.

"RELOAD" is one of the ugliest albums composed by Metallica, the songs apart from 2-3 are true and real scraps, extremely boring and banal tracks.

"ReLoad, despite its commercial nature, keeps a good amount of aggressiveness, which is evident from the first song: Fuel."

"Monotony is the major fault of the entire album, as I already stated before."
