Alas, you listened to Maroon 5, Avril Lavigne, and the Rasmus... alas...

I haven't listened to the album, but I did hear the single and I can say with absolute certainty that I really hate it. Fallen, on the other hand, I listened to back in the day and I didn't mind it. Therefore, I won't be voting for The Open Door. Your review is really too biased. Evanescence have a too pop-commercial attitude for my taste.

I don't know how you managed to listen to this album in its entirety since it comes out on October 6th. I would have liked to know more specifically about the other songs, but you just limited yourself to saying four useless words. Given that I own "Ascendancy," I will, of course, buy "The Crusade," but we must admit that they aren't doing anything new and just recycle the usual "metal" clichés. Roadrunner (too focused on sales...) excessively promotes them, making every little release seem like the last great invention of the millennium. For the review, I give you a 2 just because you mentioned Trivium; the album, of course, I won’t rate.
