You have a lot of anger inside you… But this doesn’t seem like the place to let it all out… Perhaps without the chlichés, without the meaningless criticisms of those who have nothing to do with Audioslave, one could have also argued a critique of Rage, Pearl Jam, and Fugazi… besides Audioslave. Question: And what about Soundgarden?
Nada Tutto l'amore che mi manca

stunning album, teetering between CSI and Harvey, Shannon Wright and Neurosis!
You stole my review, damn you...
Beautiful cover and review too.
Full score, I love Nada and her relationship with tears...

Well done!
But I prefer domination to covenant...
Cannibal Corpse Worm Infested

Please... Vince Locke is a decent illustrator and a good comic book artist...
You’re not a genius just because you have a knack for something (macabre in this case...)
Anyway, perfect for the chaos created by the Cannibals!

I prefer Sham mirrors, even though this is much less straightforward... it's more open to the listener than to the one who composed it... Chaos Path and Ad astra are the best. Well-written review, although a bit too "hyped"...

In short... a record that has truly put SADNESS on me is Filosofem by Burzum. A TRUE, SUFFERED, COHERENT album! I don't want to introduce the Viekersen discourse, but I tend to emphasize that in these realms (black and dark in general), coherence matters WAY TOO MUCH, the affinity between the album and its atmosphere, as the more modern art forms teach... and I don't mean that those who make death metal must kill, but at least feel and perceive in a certain way... I say, precisely for this reason, someone like Herr Morbid is terrible... you can't do SUICIDAL PROPAGANDA without being 100% INCOHERENT!!! We're not talking about sensations related to suicide, but about propaganda... No coherence --> end of black art! He should take lessons from the Norwegian nihilist "masters"... only for them, a scream of pain recorded on vinyl deserves respect!
Adios... I'm going to prepare the rope...

I don’t think the purpose of De-baser is that of a regular web zine, where weekly releases are judged (more or less impartially in a broad sense), but rather to express, more or less subjectively, opinions on one’s own albums. If now the webzine is filled with 30 reviews of the same record, that’s another matter... I agree with Tepes’s all high ratings; he really likes these records and will always and ONLY review those that mean more to him than others! There are also those who enjoy brutally trashing Apicella and the ruling company... I couldn’t care less if Coltrane lovers understand 5 stars for Nattens Madrigal or Transilvanian Hunger... with all due respect for their splendid favorite genre... I’m out!

I prefer the later works... more "death"... (as well as for Nile) but it’s my limitation, because with grind or pure brutal I get lost and bored... If I feel like sonic nihilism, I turn to Black. Good review anyway!
