Exceptional.. he really fills the squares (I think I've seen him 10 times for various festivals..) the son, on the other hand, is much more of an idiot, because he acts serious.. meh..

To be one of the concerts I’ve been looking forward to for years, I have to say it was good but not perfect, absolutely. The acoustics, damn… too many basses, my ears still hurt (after 6 days!) and the background vocals… the setlist was definitely short (Tool have WAY too many great songs to play… I was a bit naïve to expect a thick and lejches or a Bottom)… Maynard's prima donna attitude, and not just that but also his lack of energy, because I can assure you that if he had sung like ME for that hour and a half, he would have overshadowed the drums!!! Then there was never a word besides a huge THANK YOU, nothing really brilliant that distinguishes Live from the Cd… I don’t know… I have a bit of a bitter taste (and in my ears)… not even an encore. I mean, if I didn’t love their songs to death, I don’t know if I would have liked it… I put myself in the shoes of someone who was there maybe based on “word of mouth” and who invested 37 euros to get to know this hyper-acclaimed American reality…
As the stones have also noted… Carey gets a 10 and honors… (I was there for him; I just started playing the drums… but I might stop!) and the others, except for Maynard, really good and (unfortunately) professional. Damn, I expected a kind of two-and-a-half-hour mass with long psychedelic sessions à la Zeppelin-Mars Volta and everyone sitting cross-legged in religious silence, while smoke, visuals, and perfect sounds enveloped the air; instead, it felt more like an excellent cover band…
And to finish… why the HELL didn’t you bring ISIS!!!???? Another stellar disappointment!

Exceptional... I enjoy listening to these songs even more now than when I was a kid.. I understand the criticism against the character, but here we're talking about the history of Italian music. Those were amazing years..
