Every Time I Die The Big Dirty

Beautiful receipt if it had been an intro... the album is practically not talked about…. they will always do their rock'n'core, but they drive me crazy! Take that, you plastic posers who dominate MTV!
Robert Rodriguez Grind House - Planet Terror

It literally made me shit: incredibly boring, zero fun, zero splatter, zero suspense, absurdly forced nonsense. The 70s references were annoying, just like the remakes of Z-movies spent for millions of dollars. I definitely liked Tarantino’s one much more.
Machine Head The Blackening

mmah, everyone talks about a masterpiece but, aside from a couple of tracks, I find it boring. Maybe it’s just old age catching up.

Nice review. I know the band in passing, but I had already had the chance to appreciate their qualities in sound research and composition.
Extreme III Sides to Every Story

album overconsumed....at the time I hoped they would be the Queen of the new millennium, but I was wrong given the miserable end they’ve met. The funky riff of Cupid's Dead made me go crazy! Cherone with Van Halen didn't have much success, Nuno's albums didn't say much to me, why not a reunion with a bang??
Theatre of Tragedy ['mju:zik]

recovered the album... I can only quote galakordi: rather shabby kraut electro pop. the theatre of tragedy were something else, better to preserve the memory of the first albums.

let's say that their stunning debut arrived during the hot years of goth metal (go check out the albums released in 1995, an unforgettable year for many genres), when genre bands gave their best: Type O Negative and the dark Bloody Kisses, My Dying Bride and the vampiric The Angel and the Dark River (at the time I was reading Anne Rice's trilogy with this album on my headphones: the ideal soundtrack!), the romantic Wildhoney by Tiamat, the goth doom of Solar Lovers by Celestial Season, and the unreachable The 3rd & the Mortal with Tears Laid in Earth and the subsequent masterpiece Painting on Glass. So, they did indeed pave a new road, but they were also in good company! Honestly, after the third album, I put them aside; their main characteristic (a soprano against a growl) had become a cliché. The nice review piqued my curiosity... I’m going to check them out! ;)
Mainline From Oblivion To Salvation

I know the mainline and they definitely deserve it in person ; )
derecensore: this name isn't new to me... weren't you writing for the then undisputed bible MS back in the fuzz days???

I don't mind the album at all. I don't mind the brief review either, even though in this case it doesn't go into detail about the tracks.
