Marco Paolini Bestiario Italiano - I Cani del Gas
Voto:
I adore Paolini, ever since I saw Il Milione. I've never seen a more genuine Venice. I miss this (and I also miss the sergeant, a book I loved), but the review absolutely does it justice.

disappointing, alas, review rather on point (I don't agree either with the comparison to 35007).
Regarding the 'zep covers, Frank Zappa and his crew covered "Stairway to Heaven."

Nice little record, but it's not one I like to listen to again. Chubby yes.

Gazzetta dello sport Michael Jordan: His Airness
Voto:
Only recently have I become passionate about basketball, but his Airness is something that transcends the sport. Elegantly, he could easily play in 5 different positions and it wouldn’t have mattered to anyone.
Them Crooked Vultures Them Crooked Vultures

I stand corrected, everything was streaming. Not anymore, oh well.

good album, good first impression, dropped a bit with the listens. I also round it to a 3.5, but it’s a 3; from these guys I expected a bomb and instead it's "only" a good album. Seeing the live shows, JP Jones is still having a lot of fun, good for him.
(nb: everything is streaming YouTube )
IdSoftware Quake III Arena

what every game should be: fun, plain and simple. I vividly remember the feelings the first time I saw it, and all things considered (given that it's been 10 years), the graphics are still absolutely enjoyable. awesome.
Infinity Ward Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Oh my goodness, that quoting is obviously an abomination that needs to be replaced with "to cite" >.<

how can you not mention S4doll... by the way, the developers' response to the question "So will the PC version just be a port of the console version?" was: "Of course not! The PC version supports mouse and keyboard, has some extra graphical options, and supports text chat."
It's obviously a joke.
(But does anyone feel like doing the review of Grim Fandango or should I take on that burden myself?)
