great review... Cobain's cultural background is well highlighted by his diary... a truly remarkable prose with clear "beat" influences, especially reminiscent of Miller, and an uncommon ability to read reality (not by chance Seattle is one of the cultural capitals of the USA; the universities of the state of Washington were in the '90s what San Francisco was some time ago, see the anti-imperialist movements, etc.) and your review is very well written, congratulations. I need to listen to the piece, then I'll let you know...

Bob Dylan would burn him 100 times... Billy was a good guitarist... James Iha would have had something to say (his the most beautiful track from Mellon Collie, the last one on the first CD, I think it’s called take me down), but what can you do with an asshole like Corgan?!?!?

but the solo in "Dogs" by Pink Floyd (the very first one) reminds me of some tracks (a friend of mine had given me the album on cassette without the track names) from this record here.
