Francesco, I wanted to tell you that Kurt Cobain admired REM very much and had plans (or perhaps dreams) to make an album with Stipe... as for Smell, everything that came after that song for Nirvana was done with the sole intention of erasing that hit from memory... just for the record, best regards ^_^
