Good morning and thank you to all the visitors... @ramona... I would say 5, even though there are no electric guitars here (I mean, it’s much more folk country compared to Tupelo)... @Giubbo... I’m so jealous of you, he’s an artist I discovered recently and this album (waiting for the new one out on 29th April...) takes me to work in the morning and brings me back home from work in the evening. You can tell he’s shy, and I reiterate that I Ain't Proud is beautiful...

Of course, Alfredo... they weren't the Divine Comedy, but they were functional to the music that was functional to the cartoon... they were written by different authors and in completely different styles... those from Da Vena all sound whiny in the same way... in Japan, they kept making them like they used to... I mean, the theme song of Holly and Benji is more like an interregional league than that of the strongest team in the world... :-)))

Even if he could have gotten on stage, spat out his dentures, and peed himself, I would have been moved anyway... @here... I don't know the song, but tonight I'm downloading and reviewing to share my (useless) impressions with you... if even Mr. Rock'n'Roll has plagiarized, we’re really in trouble... :-))

@laRock... to respond to the first part of your post 45, it’s true, I was one of those who had to rush home from elementary school because Goldrake aired at noon, and I used to get really pissed off because I always arrived after the opening credits... then, in addition to the whole wave of the 70s and early 80s, I endured a good part of my brother's cartoons (9 years younger), the ones with the themes by Cristina Da Vena... the sad thing is that they are all flat, musically worthless, while before they were crafted and specifically realized (by groups of super musicians) based on the themes of the cartoon... this is the fault of the aforementioned and its Fininvest productions... the flattening, the banality of the lyrics and music... that's why you can’t give a 5 to such an album... it’s like giving a 5 to Take That or Backstreet Boys... aside from the legitimate nostalgia...

Greetings to you too, doctor... Occulto, I would also remember Mal, who besides Furia, sang Fantaman, which is a pseudo prog track that still gives me chills today... "But there is a strong man, with a fantastic heart, who knows how to swim, knows how to fly and will help everyone, Fantaman, invincible are you..."

@PSYCHO...I have the 45 of Jeeg split Il Grande Mazinga, a couple of Goldrake/Atlas Ufo Robot, Ken Falco, Astro Robot, Daitarn 3 and these talk about Cristina Da Vena... but please, go to work.

You are absolutely right, perfectcircle... Natalie was missing here, and you have done a great job acknowledging that.
