I find the Afterhours very "close" to Guided By Voices, that is, a band with a lot of ideas attempting to express them in the best way possible. I believe Manuel is one of the best Italian songwriters, diverse and valuable in 90% of what he has done. This will be brought to me tonight, and then I’ll come back later to vote on the album, but I really regret how poorly they are treated, especially because if it's an American or an Englishman being an "asshole," it's cool, while if it's an Italian, it gets beaten down. Agnelli might not be very likable, but his works are of the highest level in our country. I just read a review that gave 3 stars to a compilation by Le Vibrazioni... rivers of words praising Vasco Rossi and Ligabue. So I think Afterhours deserve a solid 5, regardless.

Starting from the review, I have to say that I particularly like it, since in just a few (very few...???) words you manage to condense the whole discourse. When it comes to the album, I have to go against the trend a bit... the first one will always be THE FIRST... even though we're talking about immense albums.
