WOW... I can't give the album a failing grade because I just can't bring myself to do that to Roger.

5 also and only (but not only) for the recommendation. I bought it as soon as I saw it advertised in the pages of Blow Up, and it helped me uncover quite a few gems. A must-have, even (if not especially) because it's wonderful to get angry over a review we don't like or because we can't find some dude's record... just beautiful. And it's written by professionals, whether they like it or not.

Record worthy of the album...

I quote Lux and Fest... I’ve never quite digested it well. Tragic Figures is truly from another planet...

Great recommendation... I will definitely check it out. But the best American band of the last 20 years.... (I quote fest and accept your revivalization)... :-))))))))))))))

Then there were a bunch of kids who weren’t even born when Schizofrenia was released... Alcatraz packed to the brim, with a couple of faintings from the equatorial heat...

Seen in Milan and liked them a lot. Can you believe I saw them in the park of a villa in Varese during the Dirty tour and they played half-heartedly for 40 minutes before leaving... such an avant-garde move. In Milan, they even "gifted" Bull in the Heather... so they included Experimental, and looking at the songs mentioned in Bolzano, they really seem to be the same.

Enjoyed only as an """accompaniment""" to Steve Albini... too monolithic on their own. I agree with Kosmo on the review...

I had only heard about it (good things) and this summer I saw it at a festival in Roseto degli Abruzzi... I have to say that disappointment hit me... I don't know anything about the album, precisely because his "power-trio" performance seemed out of place... who knows, maybe that's its charm...

@Fest... I don't quite agree, so far I've received everything I bought... also regarding the prices... there are stores that have vinyls (new or reissues) cheaper than CDs (same album)... for example, I bought Godspeed from a guy in Turin at Vinilmania for 13.90 for the single record and 17.90 for the double... you won't find the CD for less even if you cry... and I also agree that the packaging, the inserts... the black plastic that spins around...
