Actually, the album is from 1972 and the track list stops at 12 (ST 100.6) because the others are from the second - Radio City - from 1974.

Congratulations Jim for Vinnie Paul, the gun drum of Chuck Norris.

I have a vinyl I found at a thrift market, not kept in the best condition, and I must admit that beyond the obvious crackles, it sounds a bit "weird." Meanwhile, the mp3s I transferred to CD really rock in the car... maybe a lot of it is just suggestion, but that's how I perceive it.

third/sister is certainly the peak of the band, but I got to know them through this and I have to admit that I like it a lot more. Sure, the low quality of the recordings on the vinyl is a bit heavy, but I downloaded it "remastered" and it sounds really cool...

what a shitty experience, psycho... and what's worse, all the way to Japan... that Twink was a bit of a jerk is something that can be inferred from his constant changes, in and out of all the groups he's been through...

good job BeatBoy... I'm not really convinced about the '64, but definitely up to '77, as I said, my first real revelation was the Ramones, think that I had the bowl cut like Johnny and they called me the seventh brother, long before C.J. (my friends, of course).

I grew up with my mother's music of the '60s and my father's '50s rock 'n' roll + Beatles, Stones, and Dylan. In the '80s, I was a mess, hopping from Duran to Iron Maiden, passing through Spandau and Ozzy, until I was struck by the Ramones and punk... then in the '90s, grunge, hardcore, noise (massive doses) until post-rock, which somehow brought me back to the Beatles and their roots, which I've been diving into (and continue to seek) for about ten years now... I believe that the decade 65-75 is by far the best of the best.

very nice review, a bit less the album (while still remaining a monolith of the genre)... however, I believe that 2 and For Respect (in strict order of preference) are somewhat superior...
