@Wanderer... think that between November '67 and January '69, the two albums you mentioned were released, plus that absolute masterpiece that was SF Sorrow by the Pretty Things, who in the photos from that era look even more out of place than all the others combined... what a magical time to live.

@Trell... precise like a Swiss clock (and you know I live on the Swiss border and work for a Swiss company, so I recognize precision) @Stoopid... it affected me strangely, for sure this album really blew my mind, it arrived at just the right time, a couple of summers ago, and it felt natural to take a piece of it for myself, especially since the story tells of an absurd totally unintentional murder, typically British humor... @Beat... a warm greeting to you, who is always very kind... yes, as the song says: "Lewis Tollani is me"...

@Enea... Odra has already given a nice response... then the "stupid discussions" like yours are always welcome...!!!

@Fest... I certainly feel much more inclined to indulge with the cosmic German, but back in 1968 they were light years ahead. @Rocky... boredom certainly sets in after a while of listening, something that kraut doesn't produce for me, but I agree with you that you agree with me that it's a masterpiece.

@Rocky... I’m afraid that the syrupy harmonies reminiscent of the Beatles are there and quite present, even if built on structures that strongly recall Blossom Toes, Tomorrow... and even a hint of the very early Floyd (a bit less twisted...).
@Enea... honestly, who knows...???, I just think that Schultze found the name interesting (and maybe the album too)... just a guess...

Did you know that when it came out, they asked Michael Stipe for his opinion? He said that when they asked him about the release, he only raised the issue that it wasn’t a right-hander who made it, and after hearing it, he said it disgusted him... Stipe Docet... (I still have at home the issue of Rumore from that time with the interview)
