LA RECENSIONE

They open the dances with their heads bobbing from side to side, and a fun start like "When I was young in 1993, I had a little monkey by my side". How can they not be likable? I had the monkey too, whatever they meant by it.
They make the bass scratch, sour the guitar, and churn out an energetic track like How Our Dildo Can Change Your Life that gets you moving your ass. Being very careful with the dildo, of course.
Shaking it also in 5Th Avenue, they seem to imitate Lou Reed of Transformer, and the singer, impudent enough, lets the 's' slide like a hand under the skirt, and it’s "sssso vicioussss". That's how it’s done: learning from the masters.
Then the disorienting close with a pseudo-ballad in lo-fi style, sung - contrary to the rest - with the fake laziness that was Pavement’s. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out that the little chorus "...pass me by..." is sung by Spiral Stairs (the former Pavement guitarist's nickname).

It's the debut of these promising youngsters from Sassuolo (MO): a six-track EP balancing between hearty garage rock, "don't care" punk, and glam flirtations, for the equally Italian label Urtovox.
After trying this dildo from the Emilian Beasts, whether your expression is happy and satisfied or a mask like Totò Schillaci in the Italy '90 version with a Pierrot's tear on the cheek, that will be up to you to find out.

All musically speaking, of course.
