The reception is a bit "sparse" and doesn't do justice to everything that the Soulfly project and album have produced... seen at the Astoria on Tottenham Court Road in London right after this album was released, with Max signing autographs before the concert while wearing a Beckham jersey...

And even on the cover there would be many, many words to spend, considering it's Mick Jones tearing Elvis apart...

Having read the review... downloaded (this and Funcrusher)... left speechless... I have always looked for the missing link between the pioneers and Wu-Tang... thank you.

@Occasional... I couldn't find Alice's arrangements (debut) anymore after in the Prince, in my opinion the music (maybe a bit low in the recording compared to the vocals) is the highest artistic expression of De Gregori... Goodnight Brother, Marianna, Saigon... they don't seem that simple to me...

Occult, Dick (maximum respect) Dale learned to surf, like all his contemporaries from Link Wray and Duane Eddy (who was the soft version of Wray). Of course, with Misrilou he reached the highest peak (tied with Surfin' Bird by the Trashmen), but Link is unbeatable... absolutely unbeatable, and as N.I.B.II.O. pointed out at the tender age of 76, he was still doing 40-date tours in America, and he lived in Denmark, where he is buried (outside Copenhagen)... R.I.P.
