Nice review, especially for having "re-evaluated" Into The Unknown, a tender and genuine attempt by Graffin to dive into the 70s. I've always found it a bit "soft," but I must say your words have planted a seed of curiosity in my mind. Tonight I'll pull it out and give it a try...

I agree with friends Odra and Kosmo above. Really great job bringing back (very well) a group that's too little known. Well done!

"to make me like you, you have to blow my mind"... that's it, man, that's the fucking it. EXCELLENT

The movie is very beautiful and so is your writing, telespalla. I really like movie reviews done this way, a nice intertwining of the story, the actors, the director, the cinematography... really well done. I believe that the sequel, which I saw first, is quite inferior to this one; a good movie, of course, but inferior.

...afterwards, I just couldn't make myself like them, and today I don't even try. It makes me a little laugh Piero Peloche overflowing with verses from el diablo to today... that's all.

@gustavo... I don't hold it against you at all, actually... I just want to say that today, every now and then, I very gladly listen to 17 re and the live, and when I try this and desaparecido they make me feel a bit nostalgic, even though I've literally worn them out and experienced them (I saw them twice, once in pirata and once in el diablo tour), that is, today in 2010 I can no longer appreciate them as I did back then, while the two mentioned above I still believe are monstrous records, even today in 2010.

@gustavo.... I really believe that the level isn't that much worse, the problem is that underground (or subculture) no longer has realities like Marlene, Afterhours, Massimo Volume, CSI, Sangue Misto, and so on. In the mainstream, things are more or less the same because I see Pezzali at the same level as Giuliano from Negramaro; I found one disgusting and by osmosis I feel revulsion for the other. This wasn't and isn't good music, objectively speaking; then memories are what they are and they hold value for each of us, whether a lot or a little, UNAPPEALABLY... what I can't tolerate is that there are people, past the age of 20, who still think (and even worse, still propose) that the 883 were "A true gem of the Italian music scene in the '90s."

@TEENAGE... the problem is with this stuff here, with young guys and their followers who have anesthetized Italian music, flattening it to an infinitesimal level. Sure, it’s "just" showbiz for kids, but the billions they’ve made and the brain damage that follows are still present today... back in the day you could tell them to go to hell, my dear Pezzali. Today the level of mainstream is the same as Pezzali or Cherubini who sang with Lamiamoto or Ghimmi Faiv... please, let’s be honest, these are people who, to benefit their wallets, harm music and those who believe in certain things... then I understand that at 6, 7, or 8 years old it’s easy to fall into these temptations. I was lucky enough to go from Goldrake and Jeeg to Battiato, Dire Straits, and AC/DC (thanks again Paolo), but my brother, at 7/8 years old, thanks to me was singing "uooo che cazzo dici...? la nostra libertààààà...". GARBAGE not recyclable.

... the rest is completely irrelevant, from El diablo to today a vertical drop...
