Despite fully understanding your "partisanship," I find the review very well done. Congratulations. I have a lot of sympathy for Carmen Consoli; she is the only slightly different thing in the "mass pop from the hit parade" (forgive me this kind of neologism...), but she is not among what I usually listen to.

I read the article too, and even though it's based on some clichés, there's a grain of truth in it; however, who cares! We listen to music for our own enjoyment, not for that of the majority of Italians. But for an album like that, I need to listen to it really well before buying it... judgment postponed.
