THE REVIEW

I take advantage of the re-edition of this album in double format (the previous one, on a single CD, caused some problems for certain CD players due to its excessive length) to bring to de-baser one of my favorite bands.

Top-notch musicians (Steve Wilson - guitar, Chriss Maitland - drums ex Whitesnake, Richard Barbieri - keyboards ex Japan, Colin Edwin - bass), have tried to bring progressive rock and psychedelia to the present day by blending them with modern sounds; the result? Excellent for me, but I might be biased...

I specifically highlight this live from 1997, when their largest audience was in Rome, where a local radio station had launched them successfully; this album is indeed the result of a 3-day live event in Rome that gathered 3600 people.
After a brief intro, it begins with Signify, a more progressive ride than ever where stars Wilson and Barbieri duet brilliantly, then it glides into a very "Floydian" song divided into two parts: Waiting.
The rest of the album continues with their repertoire of the time, always between progressive and psychedelic, up to "Radioactive Toy," one of their first hits, here much less rock and transformed into a 15-minute psychedelic delirium.

The album is recorded with extremely high quality, and according to them, the only post-production work was done on the vocals.

Who might like it? Lovers of musical technique, Pink Floyd fans, who knows?
Who cares: just listen to it!
